I hold a Master degree in Materials, Chemical, and Metallurgical Processes Engineering also by Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). I am an expert in Physical and Extractive Metallurgy and independent researcher supported by a comprehensive bibliographic collection and Consulting Engineer in Metal Alloys in what respects to processing, heat treatment, specifications and applications, welding, quality issues and failure analyses.

I own more than 40 years of continuous professional experience related in particular with iron metallurgy and its alloys in Brazil and abroad. This professional background encompasses the publication of several technical papers, teaching of training classes, lectures and speeches on iron and steel making and processing, participations in technical, the last four years at ThyssenKrupp Cia. Siderúrgica do Atlântico (currently Ternium Brazil) as senior process and products engineer engaged in technical assistance to customers. I started my professional life in the steelmaking facilities of Gerdau CSG and complemented my formation in steelmaking plants in Brazil and abroad.
